Sabrina Kindell MA, LPC-S, LMFT-S, Cht is a Dual LIcensed Texas State board approved supervisor. She has been a master's level clinician for 18 years.
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR YOU?
The selection of your supervisor for your 3000 post graduate clinical hours is almost as important as your selection of graduate schools. You will be spending approximately 2 years together and in that time the supervisor will be responsible for helping you to create all aspects of what it takes to be a clinician in private practice. If you happened to be dual licensed Ms. Kindell is able to provide you with both LPC and LMFT supervisions simultaneously. Thus saving you time, money and providing a consistency in training.
Finally, BUT most importantly, Sabrina provides a compassionate and mindful hands on approach to her supervision. Put simply, Sabrina offers one of a kind, high quality supervision which enables her interns to develop their unique clinical styles and in the end- a fulfilling private practices

A NOTE FROM SABRINA:
I happily consider supervising LPC-I's and LMFT-A's that are working for other agencies, groups or private practices and see the benefit of working with a dual licensed supervisor with extensive clinical experience and resources.
I do not provide your placement sites - but will be responsible for ongoing, in-depth individual & group supervision, sliding scale referrals and private practice building components of your training as well as resources and connections within our Austin Healing community. I also provide training in areas of interest to the group as we find themes of interest together.
Please note:
Over the past 3 years I have received over 50 resumes & queries. If you are interested in a holistic supervision approach, taking into account your entire internal and external system as a novice intern please email me a resume and areas in which you have received specific certification or training beyond your degree and any personal growth and development experiences.
I keep my eye out for those novice clinicians that have:
1. Received or plan on receiving, what they are preparing to give to others. aka "Doing your own personal work."
2. Have the knowledge that graduation only means they are ready to go from knowledge to knowing and have a lot of learning still to do.
3. Have a well rounded sense of what it takes to become a private practitioner in our Austin community while providing gentle guardianship to those whose lives we touch.
